In order to be able to use the effect of the elements within a composition in a more targeted way, you should have a rudimentary knowledge of the basic principles of audio engineering. Which instrument focuses on which frequency range, what is suitable for filling a frequency gap and which elements in combination should be toned down later in the mix?

"As a rule, humans always think within the parameters they already know.. If we try to imagine something new, our mind first uses the experiences we have made before. We then often look for new impressions in nature, because there is hardly a better teacher.
In our search for new ideas, we often need some inspiration. This can happen by chance - for example during a walk or perhaps because we have misheard something and our mind has interpreted it differently.
